Quinn Martensen has been a Rockford police officer since 2018.
On September 14th, 2021, Martensen was one of the officers that responded to calls at the RPS 205 Administration building.
In the weeks leading up, there had been an increased community presence following the video of Auburn high school “resource officer” Brad Lauer slamming a 14-year-old freshman to the ground causing brain damage and a fractured skull.
At the board meeting one community member was arrested and charged with criminal trespassing. All charges were dismissed.
