On May 28th, 2024, Aguillon was assigned to work Rockford City Council Meetings after there had been an increase in attendance by Pro-Palestine supporters in an effort to get City Council to pass a ceasefire resolution.

After there was some disruption to the meeting from the pro-Palestine crowd Aguillon and other RPD Officer Joshua Carpenter escorted the disruptors off City Hall property.
