On October 12th, 2012, Phillip Statler, Andre Brass and Jeremiah Cizerle responded to a 911 call for help.
The call came from a family member of Logan Bell. They called informing officers of a mental health episode Logan was experiencing.
The family member told 911 they feared Logan could possibly hurt himself and he was carrying a BB gun with him.
When the three officers responded, they chased Logan from the house eventually ending in a field.
The interaction ended when Logan allegedly turned towards the three officers and fired the BB gun in the direction of Andre Brass and fired once.
Phillip Statler and Jeremiah Cizerle shot sixteen shots all together - killing 18 year old Logan Bell.
