Karly Garton has been a Rockford Police officer since 2024.

On October 4th, 2024, Garton, along with other RPD officers, responded to a protest outside Underground Art Gallery owned by Israeli Zionist Roni Golan in downtown Rockford.

Under the direction of RPD Sergeant Christopher Jones, Garton gave out a noise citation to a protester for their alleged use of a megaphone.

In 2024, they made $61,819 in salary + $1,722 in overtime = $63,541 + $17,550 in health insurance + $52,059 in pension pay.
