Jordan Stedman has been a Rockford police department officer since November 2007.
On May 30th, 2020, Stedman as a SWAT team cop was assigned to monitor the first protest in Rockford following the murder of George Floyd.
In his report written on June 4th 2020, Stedman referred to the protests as being in response to “a suspects death in Minnesota.”
Stedman wrote in his report that he fired several shots of OC spray into the crowd.
Later in the night Stedman assisted in the arrest of protestor - using a head pin.
