Isaiah Fisher has been a Rockford police officer since 2015. He worked mainly as a K-9 cop.
On May 30th, 2020, Fisher was assigned to monitor the first protest in Rockford following the murder of George Floyd.
During the arrest and beating of four individuals, Fisher ran to the scene. Before reaching it, he came across two women watching the brutal arrests.
Fisher immediately yelled at them to get down on the ground. When one of them didn’t comply fast enough, Fisher shoved her from behind to the ground.
The two women were not arrested as they were not suspected of any crime.
Fisher was assigned to work multiple City Market 2020 protests.
