Ashley Calhoun has been a Rockford Police officer since 2006. She works as a school resource officer at RESA Middle School.

Part of her duties is working RPS 205 School Board meetings.

In the fall of 2022, Calhoun removed multiple individuals from the school board meetings for attempting to address the violent use of force used on a 14-year-old freshman at Auburn High School.

Calhoun arrested one individual and charged them with criminal trespassing. The State's Attorney's office declined to press charges on the individual.
