Antawan Robertson has been a Rockford police officer since 2022.

On May 30th, 2023, Robertson and several other RPD officers responded to Rockford City Hall after there was disruption made by community members protesting against mayor Tom McNamara and local police violence during the mayors ‘State of the city address’

Robertson escorted one of the protestors out of the building and into police custody. The charges are still pending.
