Bradley Stein has been a Rockford police department officer since August 2000.
On May 30th, 2020, Stein was assigned to monitor the first protest in Rockford following the murder of George Floyd.
Stein was equipped with a “large extinguisher” marked OC. It was tear gas.
On a least two separate occasions, Stein wrote in his report that he sprayed a protestor from the waist to the top of their head with liquid OC spray.
Neither of the individuals were arrested.
